Turning 20 years old is a time in one’s life that should be filled with excitement and anticipation for what the future holds. For us, this day is just another reminder of what won’t be for our daughter. Instead of lighting up birthday candles or giving life advice, we prepare for another year of her absence. Shortly after Jaime was taken from us, we decided we wanted to do everything we could to keep her memory alive by reminding everyone how kind, compassionate and driven she was. We created Orange Ribbons for Jaime in her honor. Our mission is to support the causes that were important to Jaime in life as well as causes that deal with the way her life was tragically cut short. This includes donating to organizations related to dance, children with special needs and dogs. Jaime’s love for dogs and passion for helping others inspired our new initiative “Paws of Love”. This program, in partnership with Moss Creek Goldendoodles, provides free puppies to eligible individuals and families affected by gun violence in an effort to provide unconditional love and companionship. In addition, Orange Ribbons for Jaime pays the expenses for the puppy’s first year of life including food, vet bills, pet insurance, dog training, grooming and more. Jaime, although your story was cut way too short, we will never forget you and promise to continue making the world a better place, just as you would have. Please DONATE now to help us honor and celebrate Jaime as well as help us to provide for others in need of support. Thank you, Jen and Fred Guttenberg
