**UPDATE We are finally having a party! To those of you who donated already, THANK YOU SO MUCH! You still have an opportunity to Donate and Party! $5,500 was already split amongst: Things of My Very Own, Joan Nicole Prince Home, NE Regional Food Bank, Schenectady Street Soldiers, and Dally's Hope 4 Paws. Now it's time to celebrate! Friends have asked if it's too late to donate and of course it's never too late! There is an organization in our community that is in need of some extra funding, The BackPack program. For those unaware of this amazing program here is some info: https://regionalfoodbank.net/backpack-program/ Backpacks are distributed by the schools to students in need of food to get the student and their family through the weekend. Over 70 students at the Scotia-Glenville School District receive food throughout the school year in partnership with the First Reformed and Trinity Presbyterian churches located within the district. Due to economic pressure, the cost has risen from $183 per student per year in 2024 to $228 in 2024 to $273 for this year. Our goal is to support this amazing program so that it can continue to help the children in need in our community. Please join us on October 8 for some live music by THE BROKEDOWN, food, drinks and family fun, including lawn games and a bounce house! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi friends and family, Due a family medical emergency, we will not be able to hold the Patapalooza event this Sunday as planned. We are all very disappointed but please remember, the ultimate goal of this was to raise awareness and to raise some well deserved money for these amazing local charities that support so many aspects of our community. To date, we have raised $4,590. We plan to divide that equally among the five charities (Things of My Very Own, Joan Nicole Prince Home, Schenectady Street Soldiers,NE Regional Food Bank and Dally’s Hope 4 Paws Rescue). We understand if you would like a refund of your donation, please contact us directly (FB messenger, email, call or text) by Sunday August 13 to request a refund. The remaining funds will be distributed equally to the charities on August 14. We thank you for your support, patience and understanding as well as your generosity. We look forward to celebrating in the future. We hope we can celebrate these great charities before the snow flies but if not we look forward to seeing everyone next summer. If you would like a patapalooza sticker please drop an email or DM. We will begin mailing them within the coming weeks. Thank you Patrick Palooza
