Help fund the purchase of a large "K" oxygen tank and decent valve system to keep in the Owens Valley for all HG pilots to use during the summer flying season. The Dow Hotel has graciously allowed us to store the tank in a locked spare luggage room. We are allowed to access as much as needed. After this funding is complete, any extra $ will go towards expanding to a multi tank system and future oxygen fills. There will be a suggested donation for each time a pilot fills to maintain the supply and pay for refills as needed from Linde Welding Supply in Bishop. We are still working on the possibility of an even better location for the oxygen system at Lone Pine Airport. In the off season, we can store the tanks at Garland's house in Big Pine. Linde sells the K tank for $388.77, and fills it for $82.82. after tax the initial cost of a tank is $517.75.
