Orphans of war Summer 2024 Hi community, please support us in our help to the orphan victims of the war in UkraineWhat we do: we fund local volunteers in Ukraine who work directly with kids that became orphans and who had been evacuated from the front lines. The volunteers, led by Casting Producer Olha Klymenko in Kyiv, helped children from Makarov, Moschun and other areas with special nutrition, groceries, clothes, housing and other needs. They do an extraordinary job of finding kids and quickly addressing their needs by not only procuring and delivering but finding rare products to support specific nutrition or medical needs. We have the ability to control the use of funds with photo reports. In January 2024, we collected $10,400 on this platform to buy basics and medicine for the kids. Here is a short Youtube video on the impact that your donations created: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csIf4ff-NsM Out of $10,400, the volunteers in Kyiv bought and delivered to the kids: Medicine for $1467, Clothes for $1335, food for $1648, hygiene supplies and vitamins for $1 265, gadgets for education and water filters for $2175, school supplies for $309, toys for $613,37, gasoline for $613.Who are we:Dmitry Karpov, co-founder at ElectroNeek Robotics: Since I became a father, I became deeply attached to the cause of children suffering from adult crimes. When the war started this year, I was looking for a way to contribute to preventing more harm to the children of Ukraine, the most innocent victims of the nightmare we all live in 2024. Together with my wife and close friends, we started doing charity events, raising funds for NovaUkraine and other organizations we connected with in the Bay Area. The company I co-founded donated to the Red Cross of Ukraine in the early days of the war. Finally, in early Fall, my friend Oksana introduced me to Ms. Klymenko, who had already led humanitarian projects in Kyiv. We decided to join forces to support her projects.Oxana Emmerikh, VP Finance at Realtex: These children are paying the heaviest toll possible, suffering from loss, and I want to make their life a little bit easier in these dark times. These little angels deserve better lives without fear and severe needs. What will the funds be used for:100% of dollars raised through this campaign will go to the bank account of Proactive Generation (Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/proactivegeneration ), a nonprofit in Kyiv that funds and coordinates volunteers.
