Hi! My name is Ashley, I have been in communication with a Christian orphanage in Africa called Light of Hope Organisation. In their own words, this is their goal -“Raise the hope of orphans and other vulnerable people around our community to help them achieve their life goals. The organisation currently cares for 25 children who need daily meals, clothes, health care. We also empowering younger girls, taking care of water supply, environment and other daily basis needs. We are offering quality education for a few children that have began School, though the numer is expected to rise at any time. Our immediate goal is to build a block structure for the children's accommodation so that they can shift from the grass thatcher houses and an office.” I pray that God softens the hearts of all who see this. 1 Corinthians 13 1-3: CORINTHIANS 13:1-3 “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” Actions are great, but the Bible says they are empty without faith and love. Our faith keeps us connected to Christ while our love keeps us humble and always seeking to care for those around us.
