Hello. First and foremost we would like to give a big, heartfelt thank you to the Rockford, IL community. When the we came out there was a large response from the community around making sure we had the materials needed to run our free community classes. We have received a surplus of fabrics and sundries and we are overwhelmingly touched by the response. Now that we are fully stocked we are setting our eye on the next step and looking to make some necessary changes to help us make sure our vision is sustainable. We are hoping to upgrade the electrical in the building to accommodate the sewing machines we need to make sure we can offer a consistent class size in a safe and efficient manner. We are also hoping to raise operational costs to help manage the day to day of running the studio, and help with the cost of utlities and snacks offered to our participants. For this reason, we are setting a fundraising goal of $200,000. We make this ask with the hopes that if you have to give, you will give, but if you have not to give you will share. No type of support is unappreciated and we thank you again for your continued support.
