Dementia has slowly stolen the man I call dad. While he was very far from perfect, he always had a generous heart and gave out of his lack. Now, he is finishing his journey in a nursing facility with many who are less fortunate. Many have no one to visit them, and no one to bring them things. When I ordered my dad 2 name blankets, I was simply attempting to make sure he was comfortable and that his items were returned from the laundry. But, when his aid commented on how much she loved his blankets and wished everyone in his facility could have their own, I felt Gods nudge saying… let’s make it happen!! There are currently 100 residents with room for up to 150. If you’d be willing to adopt a resident for a $33 donation, together we can get each resident their own name blanket and wrap them in love as well!
