Hello, my name is Leslie Esquivel and my 19-year-old son Isar was riding his dirt bike and a man in an SUV ran a stop sign next to our house and hit him, then took off and left my son laying in the road. He was unresponsive when EMS arrived on scene and it took 7 minutes of CPR to get him back to responsive and was incubated. He was took to Morristown Hamblen where they later flew him to UT hospital in Knoxville Tn. Both arms, right leg, face, head, sternum, and collar bone is all broken, his lung is collapsed, he has a ICP monitor in his head to monitor the swelling on his brain. He has open lacerations on his neck, left shoulder, legs and through out his whole body. He is in Trauma ICU at UT hospital. He has a long road ahead of him. We have not left his side except to go home and take showers (an hour drive one way)I, his siblings, and family have been at the hospital without going back to work. Isar has insurance, but not everything is covered, he has medical bills that are piling up and gas is expensive going back and forth from the hospital to home to take a shower. So we would appreciate anything and all donations to help us during this time and if you can't donate, just keep the family in your prayers, please.
