Hi! My name is Brooke, and I am a friend/ co -worker of Claire Ward. Claire is an amazing therapist at Central Counseling Collective, not to mention a phenomenal human, and gives her all to caring for her fur babies and helping other humans work through difficult times. Claire shows up everyday, working to create a safe and healing home for her clients, and is the absolute best fur-mom to her babies monk and priest. The photo above is the king derp himself, Monk. Monk is Claire's soul pup, and was rescued from Grey Hound racing during the great purge of what should have always been an illegal sport. Monk found his calling in being a house dog, running the home with his not so subtle demands and finding new and innovative ways to be spoiled. Monk was recently diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, bone cancer, which will result in full leg amputation as well as several rounds of chemotherapy. This will be a lengthy and challenging road ahead for Claire and Monk, and while they are both surrounded by love and support from friends and family far and wide, I would love to facilitate a way to lighten the financial burden that will allow for time off work, self-care, and residual vet bills to be covered.
