Hello FB friends! This is Maryka Hodson and Lindsay Johnson from Columbus North Class of 1990. We have set up this site asking for donations for our friend and former classmate, Monica Williams-Keller. Monica and her husband, Oscar, lost their home to a fire 2 days ago. It wasn't a "total loss". However, the home is severely damaged and they are unable to live there. In addition, smoke damage and water damage have taken nearly everything the fire did not destroy. Thankfully, they escaped uninjured. But, their loss is substantial. As most of you know, they have been actively helping with raising a young boy. This little guy, by far, is Monica's priority. His toys and clothes were destroyed and she has been scrambling to make this transition as smooth as she can for him. They are in the process of relocating. Monica has had to put her work at Sew Fab on hold and Oscar is also self employed. They are in for a long process sifting through the rubble, salvaging, cleaning, and rebuilding with no way to work and complete what needs to be done. Please consider helping two hardworking, loving people rebuild their home and lives by donating. Any amount is appreciated! Thank you!
