Hi, we are Janelle and Andrew Vick, and we are fundraising for our dear friend, Melody Olson. Her car was stolen on June 28th and it is gone for good. She was eating breakfast with friends in St. Paul and had her car parked in a residential neighborhood for less than 90 minutes and just like that, it was stolen. She walked around for an hour looking for it before calling the police. How is that for a change of plans heading into the holiday weekend! We are trying to help fill a gap of costs for a rental car to be able to work, and giving additional support with the insurance claim to get her a vehicle she feels safe driving. I thought it would be an opportunity for her community to kick start some funds for the inconveniences this has caused and will continue to for the next few weeks as she works with her insurance company. We felt led to rally some people together for our sweet Mel who we all love so much! Unfortunate events like this are part of life, but we get by with a little help from our friends. Please consider helping her out to close this unforseen gap as she gives so much to so many of us.
