Hey guys, it’s Marty here! As you may or may not have heard, I was the victim of a burglary here in my rented apartment in Lisbon, Portugal. It happened while I was sleeping (they entered through the window), and the thief took 2 laptops, 2 watches, my wallet, my bag, AirPods, an iPad, and a few other things. I filed a police report, but I don’t think the items can be recovered. The AirTags were found in the trash nearby. Unfortunately, I do not have insurance that covers theft. All in all, I lost close to 10k€ (PHP 600,000) worth of stuff. While I am just happy that I’m safe, it is a huge financial setback especially in a new country. It is a little embarrassing tbh, but I am creating this LFEBridge because I would honestly appreciate any small amount that could help me with slowly repurchasing the items that were stolen from me. I’m not expecting to recover everything, but maybe you can spare something. #PowerOfFriendship
