Marco has been Chris' companion for the past 4 years, while Chris has been in graduate school at Loyola University Chicago. After returning from a weekend trip, Chris noticed Marco was in a lot of pain and was having trouble urinating. After rushing to the emergency veterinary clinic, Chris learned Marco was suffering from a life-threatening urinary blockage. At the hospital and after lots of tests, the veterinarians determined that Marco needed to be catheterized and receive supportive care. Initially, they were hoping he would be cleared to go home on Wednesday. Unfortunately, Marco's medical condition worsened and he now needs life-saving surgery to correct the blockage. As a graduate student on a limited income, Chris would appreciate anyone’s help with this cause. Whether you’re able to financially support him or not, please consider sharing this fundraiser, so that we can get Marco the medical care he needs. We can’t wait for Marco to be his playful and happy self again!
