My name is Sean and my wife’s name is Oksana. We recently had our apartment burn down due to what we believe was negligence on the management’s part to update and fix things. We had a short behind our stove and a blown transformer nearby triggered a large enough charge to spark a fire in our unit. Management won’t pay to help us relocate and replace anything. Instead they gave us 6 days to move somewhere else. We lost everything and have animals to care for. I’m just grateful we were able to rescue all the furries. Funds will go to replacing all the furries’ belongings and the necessary belongings for my wife and I and treatment for her lungs as she inhaled a lot of smoke. “we were paying for renter’s insurance that we THOUGHT covered our belongings, but management says it just covers their loss. We were not responsible for the fire. I just want to make that clear. Thank you.
