Due to unforseen and unfortunate circumstances my mother in law Lora Hartsell was recently diagnosed with advanced stage uterine cancer. They found a tumor growing on her bladder that needs to be removed but in order for that to happen she has had to begin agressive forms of radiation and chemotheraphy in order to attempt to shrink the tumor to make the surgery less complicated. for the next 4 weeks she will undergo her chemo and radiation and then be reevaluated to see if the chemo and radiation have done what they are hoping they will and she can have surgery, or if she needs to undergo further chemo and radiation to help the tumor shrink further. She is making trips to Traverse City Monday-Friday. We are asking for any help you can offer for medical expeses and to help with the cost of fuel to help get her to and from appointments. We are also asking for prayers for her as this is a hard and difficult time for all of us. she is the rock of our family and what keeps alot of us going most days. Her love for her kids and grandkids is something untouched by any kind of love out there. We all are just hoping and praying that her strong will and the power of Gids heaing hands will protect this wonderful woman through this very difficult and trying time. She is loved and cared about by many many people. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.
