On December 22, 2024, Jerry Terry unexpectedly passed away due to heart complications while hospitalized. Jerry was a loving father, devoted husband, caring high school educator, and a great friend to all. He was a Man of God and simply the best. If you were lucky enough to cross paths with him he would give you the shirt off of his back or his last dollar.    During Jerry's hospitalization, we made the difficult decision to place our special needs son Tory in a host home to get the 24/7 care he needed while I focused on Jerry's health and our other children. Tory moved into the host home on December 22, 2024, at 11 am and Jerry passed away later that same day around 5 pm. Jerry and I would have celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on July 12th.   On July 6th, 2024, I received a call that Tory was having breathing difficulties and he transitioned on to be with his heavenly and earthly fathers. His memorial service is coming soon and he’ll be laid to rest with his father.   Jerry was the primary source of support for our family. His passing has brought about significant financial hardship for the household. For the most part, I was a stay-at-home mom to the children and worked part-time when I could in our custom cake business. After Jerry's passing I started trying to rebuild my life but was met with the sudden loss of our special needs’ son Tory. Imagine losing your spouse 3 days before Christmas then 7 months later losing your child.  Jerry and I just moved into our first home shortly before his passing. Sadly he only spent 5 nights in our home.  People ask what is needed... The greatest need for our family is financial support to assist with household expenses, counseling, funeral expenses, food, and ongoing financial needs. Its difficult to worry about the finances while grieving and planning my son’s memorial. Your support would allow my family to get through the next 90 days while I’m seeking employment. If you are unable to give please pray without ceasing for our family that our God will get us through this difficult time and provide all our needs. Although he called Jerry and Tory home we still trust him. God Bless!   All funds raised go directly to Jamie Terry wife of Jerry Terry and mother of Tory Terry. This fundraiser was created by Jamie Terry.
