Hi world! My name is Ed Shaw, I'm 27 and a skateboarder from Bristol. In mid-August (13th - 19th) I'm going to be trying to follow Barney Page's footsteps (partly) by attempting to skate from Lands End back to my hometown Bristol over 6 days! I'm still working out the exact route but I think it will be about 250 miles! I'll be skating from dawn til dusk, pushing myself up and down the hills of Cornwall, Devon and Somerset through any weather I come across all in aid of The Ben Raemers Foundation. I'll be skating solo but if anyone would like to join me for all or part of the journey let me know! I think most people donating will know about The Ben Raemers Foundations and the amazing work they do but for those who don't know, the overall aim of the foundation is to provide a way to maintain Ben’s legacy and help prevent anymore loss to suicide. Their aims are to enable the skateboarding community to have opportunities to develop the skills and tools needed to support each other to understand and address mental health.
