Kim Nguyen’s two daughters Juliet and Lisa are reaching out for support for their retired father. Kim lives on his own in Southern California and recently was able to get into his very own mobile home Nov 2024 where he had been enjoying his independence and living life to the fullest. Tragically on the night of June 29 as Kim had just fallen asleep he was awoken by blazing flames rushing through his bedroom. Kim narrowly escaped the inferno with his life. He was burned but is alive and thankfully rushed to the emergency room. Kim is currently recovering in the intensive care unit (ICU) burn center. Kim is a well known figure in the community for kindness, his generosity and devotion to guide, teach and help everyone. His home is always a welcoming place to all his friends. We are reaching out for financial help as his house will likely be a total loss as well as all of his possessions. He will need funding support for his medical, property damaged, adjacent property damage costs as well as funds for a new place to live. He had so happily liquidated his life savings to provide a place for that he could call his own with the purchase of this mobile home, now he is left with very limited funds to cover anything going forward.
