On Friday, July 7th Kat was in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in BC on route to Renegade Riot. She lost control on a corner and was thrown down an embankment, a tree stopped her fall and fractured her left arm, and briefly knocked her unconscious. A couple of the people she was Ridding with crawled down the hill and pulled Kat up by her waist with a 100FT rope. EMS arrived shortly after and transported her to Vernon Jubilee Hospital where her injuries were further assessed and diagnosed. She had Surgery on her arm the evening of the 8th (plates and screwes were installed) Because Kat was wearing full gear and a full-face helmet, the arm fracture was the worst of her injuries, she did also suffer several scrapes and bruises. Because of these injuries, she will not be able to work for several months. Kat constantly states how "Lucky she is to be alive", but an injury like this makes it very difficult to carry on with normal life. I know Kat is a very independent person, but with no immediate family to help out, I know asking for assistance can be beyond difficult. The physical pain from the injury, but the stress of the overall situation can be very overwhelming. So any assistance to help my girl get through these next three months while she recovers will greatly be appreciated, by Kat and her Big fur Child Rogue
