Hello this is Sebastian, and I'm fundraising for my good friend Jonathan Darnell. About Jon I don't know how to begin writing this so it's fortunate for me that most of you know the caliber of the man we've enjoyed our mutual friendship with. We know his generosity firsthand. But for anyone who hasn't had the privilege of knowing him in his personal and professional life: Jonathan in homelife is a friend, brother, believer, husband, father, and son, who if you had the good fortune of knowing you enjoyed the privilege of his fellowship, good conversations, campfires, insight, wisdom, tinkering, woodworking, mentorship, playing fantastic music on his acoustic guitar and singing. When Jon had a spare moment from work, in family life he was back at it again splitting wood and kindling and igniting another large campfire inviting whoever would wander over our way. Laughing, sharing articles, reading scripture, and discussing any burdensome situation that men would share about life, guiding and molding, giving advice and growing friendships. Jon's loving wife Jeanette has also been his faithful companion, and such a blessing to all of us. Jeannette is a tender, compassionate, loving, wise, peacemaking, friend. Anyone who knows her knows she is filled with lovingkindness and faithfulness. Jon and Jeanette share a solid and wonderful marriage working together keeping after their family of four children. Jeanette and Jon's lovingkindness is reflected in their beautiful children who are well-behaved, insightful and very capable. In his professional life he is a maverick house lifting and structural relocation professional. Articulate, accurate, on-time, over-delivered job after job after job. Extreme conditions, extreme levels of danger and he followed through and stayed the course. He is a leader and master craftsman in this industry. About His Sickness Jon has stage 4 cancer. It's hard for me to get through this so I'll just explain it to you the same way this disease was introduced to me. Jon came over one night and started talking about a small pain, and how his ribs had felt tight. He had just recently started installing heavy large industrial garage doors and was really working hard at it. So we all teased him and laughed it off and continued laughing and joking our way through the night. The pain did not go away, it got to the point where we were really starting to worry because Jon NEVER complained about pain. Jon went to the hospital and got some scans done, and it turned out it was liver cancer that was spreading to his lung. Jon immediately began following through with intensive treatment, and treatment is ongoing. Treatment is costly, and that's why we are appealing for your financial assistance to continue treatments. Jon is our friend and pillar in the community. His absence to focus on his health has already created a deafening silence amongst his friends and family. Jeanette, his loving wife is keeping after four children and helping Jon shoulder the intensive treatments. We're trying to help Jon fight back this disease and regain his health. Please help us. Thank you.
