My name is Mark, I am the director of Atomic School in of Dance & Performing Arts, we are based in The Liberties, Dublin 8. Our School was established in 2007, our ethos to explore the diverse talents, and alternative means of education of young people. Through many different creative forms, we strive to explore student voice and expression, all the time building self-esteem and confidence in an inclusive, safe and fun environment. We see this work as imperative for the preparation of young people who may struggle with more traditional forms of education. This leads me on to my reason for setting up this go fund me. In March 2024, over one hundred and twenty students and guardians intend on travelling to Euro Disney Paris to participate in the IFDPA Dance Championship. This is an amazing opportunity for our students to represent Ireland and the inner city on such a platform. Students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, events, and activities with other young people from all over the world. Events such as these present wonderful opportunities for young people both culturally and in terms of their own development. Our hope is for all students enrolled in our school to be involved in this initiative. In order to make this hope a reality we would need to raise in excess of €60,000 - €70.000 through various fundraising initiatives. While we are conscious the financial pressures businesses face currently in Ireland, we are do believe an opportunity such as this will truly benefit the young people in our area. We would be extremely grateful for any donation you may be able to offer us. I appreciate your time on this, should you require any other information regarding this initiative please feel free to contact me. Yours Faithfully, Mark Kennedy,
