Hi, my name is Tara and as a prideful single mother, I am setting that aside for now to do what mothers do…protect our babies. Funny how life prepares you in ways you least expect, like spending my study hall time throughout high school to help in the special needs classroom, not knowing then that I would be blessed with 3 of my own special little humans (all 3 with autism, one with cerebral palsy also). Life isn’t an easy set up for single mothers of special needs children. Jobs let you go because of the constant care they require and it has happened to me more times than I can count. The last of which was during Covid. I have always managed to pick back up and move forward, but this time catching up has proved too much. We are very near to losing our home and I can’t imagine taking my wonderful children out of the home they have known for 8 years. We have overcome so much over the years…extended hospital stays, not knowing if there would be a tomorrow for one of my sweet babies. This setback after everything is unimaginable. I will keep dreaming of a day we will be able to buy our own home, maybe surprise them with a vacation or give them a Christmas they will never forget. But until that day, my dream is to give them the security of their home and be there for them however they need me. If you could find it in your heart to help us in our biggest time of need, we will be forever grateful. Thank you for your consideration and taking time out to read about us ❤️
