Hi there, and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Marisa Ewing, and I'm the founder of Hemlock Creek Productions , a black and queer owned audio post production company based in Chicago. Hemlock Creek Productions is a small studio, with its base of operations in my home office/basement. On July 2nd 2024, a flash flood quickly flooded my home, causing thousands of dollars in damage and destroying the majority of my audio equipment, including my studio monitors, desktop, and multiple audio interfaces, as well as other things like my washer and dryer, video game systems, and countless photographs. This came on the heels of the death of a family member, death of a pet, and significant personal health problems over the past month that have caused further financial strain. Hemlock Creek Productions is a very small business, and damage of this scale puts its operations in serious jeopardy, including our work for external clients as well as production of season 2 of our original show Liars & Leeches . I am looking for any help possible with replacing the following audio equipment so I can get back on feet: Genelec 8030C 5 Inch Powered Studio Monitors x 2 = $1390 Furman SS-6B-Pro Surge Protectors x3 = $150 Vocaster Two- $249 Falcon NW Computer- $4013 Jumperz 20ft Studio Patch Cables x2 $150 Sony MDR-7506 Headphones Vienna Instruments USB Licenser- $30 Total = $6082 Any help would be incredibly appreaciated. Thank you so much <3 ~Marisa
