On Monday, July 17, 2024 our world changed forever and our family and friends experienced a horrible tragedy. While at work my uncle Adalberto Montano noticed a vegetation fire. He tried to put out what he thought was a small fire and ended up engulfed in the flames. He risked his life thinking he could prevent others from getting hurt and with the hope of putting out a fire to minimize damage. He has smoke inhalation and is in intensive care with second and third degree burns. He has a long, extremely tough road to recover. As a result, we humbly ask for help to ensure his wife can be at his side to make necessary medical decisions while he fights for his life. Donations will be used for medical care and expenses to assist the family in keeping his family near him during these next few months. We are uncertain of what the future holds but are hopeful he can overcome this tragedy. We ask everyone to find it in their hearts to donate any amount to help the family during these extremely difficult times. Adalberto is a loving, father, husband, grandfather, and provider. To know him is to love him. He is the kind of individual to give his shirt off his back and a meal from his hand to whoever is in need.
