Hello, My name is Neidy Charney, Roberto Gonzalez's sister. Hola, mi nombre es Neidy Charney, hermana de Roberto González. (Traduccion mas abajo) At 1am this saturday morning, July 1st 2024, there was a devastating electrical fire at Roberto's and Venus' house. The family was sleeping with their 2 young children, Sophia and Angelo, when Roberto woke up to a very strong smell to find that his desk in the living room was on fire. He quickly got his family and the dog (Rocky - the family's pet) out. Thankfully all the members of the family are ok, but unfortunately all their possessions are gone. Since my brother and his family lives in Caracas, Venezuela where there is no Home Insurance and the help resources are limited or non-existent, they are emotionally devastated and need to rebuild their home from scratch. I am reaching out today hoping that we can help them get through this in order to rebuild their home and cover the childrens' needs. A la 1 de la mañana de este sábado, 1ro de julio de 2024, hubo un devastador incendio eléctrico en la casa de Roberto y Venus. La familia estaba durmiendo con sus dos hijos pequeños, Sophia y Angelo, cuando Roberto se despertó por un olor muy fuerte y descubrió que su escritorio en la sala estaba en llamas. Rápidamente sacó a su familia y a su perrito (Rocky, la mascota de la familia). Afortunadamente, todos los miembros de la familia están bien, pero lamentablemente todas sus posesiones se han perdido. Dado a que mi hermano y su familia viven en Caracas, Venezuela, donde no hay seguro de hogar y los recursos de ayuda son limitados o inexistentes, ellos están emocionalmente devastados y necesitan reconstruir su hogar desde cero. Hoy me pongo en contacto con ustedes con la esperanza de que podamos ayudarles a superar esto para reconstruir su hogar y cubrir las necesidades de los niños. La familia González y yo estamos muy agradecidos por toda la ayuda y el apoyo que podamos recibir para ayudarles a seguir adelante.
