My name is Matilda Mount and I am a student at Outwood Academy Portland in Worksop. I am participating in an expedition to Cambodia in 2025. This will be a 4-week expedition and will include community development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation. It will also include additional elements like scuba diving, trekking and looking for wildlife. The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects to: - Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Cambodia - Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Cambodia - Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats. This expedition is extremely important to me because I feel that I will acquire and develop many important life skills such as travelling independently, making a difference in the community, to gain a new perspective on the world and less fortunate people. I am looking forward to helping communities and seeing the cultures of Cambodia I would be extremely grateful for any contributions you can make towards my fundraising.
