My name is Mistelle, and I’m raising money to help a friend and employee who suddenly lost her partner and then following her home where they once lived as a family. Heather, her daughters (Luna and Sophia), and Paul had built a wonderful home. Heather was working part time and going to school part time while Paul was the heartbeat of the house and worked hard to provide a wonderful home and life for Heather, Luna and Sophia. Suddenly, on April 10, 2024 Paul collapsed and went into cardiac arrest as they readied for bed that evening. Despite the paramedics and hospitals best efforts, Paul passed away that evening. The family had lost their patriarch and hearts were shattered. Once the initial shock and steps began to become memories - new realities began to sink in. In June, Heather learned that unfortunately she would not be able to retain nor remain in their family home. They had built this life together and everything they had built she no longer was the owner of. She and the girls modified a she-shed and have been making due since. Through all of this Heather has been the strong mom the girls needed. She took on full time work, getting promoted to management, while continuing her classes working towards her degree in psychology. All through this, grieving and struggling. This is why I’m doing this LFEBridge. Heather and the girls need a home again. A place to truly heal and begin their new journey. One step and moment at a time. Heather has recently been able to qualify for a modest USDA loan and is hoping to find a way to build a new home for their family. She needs help with the down payment and most furnishings. If we could raise $5000 it would cover either the down payment needed or the basic furnishings for her and the girls. This family has lost a core that has caused such pain. And Heather could really use some help to create some normalcy. Please help me help this family.
