Family and friends, many of you know Wendy Freeland; Wendy has been deeply intertwined in all of my extended family members' lives. She has long been a family friend, and has also been there for huge moments in our lives, leading both cherished weddings and beautiful funerals for our family members. Recently, Wendy suffered a shocking fire that burnt down the van that served as her mobile home including all of her possessions, medication, money, etc. Wendy had been touring near Geraldton, when the fire and explosion occurred. She was parked safely in an appropriate bay on the side of the road doing crochet. She put down her work to take her dog for a walk and to pick up a bunch of rubbish she had seen... when suddenly catastrophe struck; Passing motorists, honking and yelling to get her attention caused her to turn around just in time to witness her beloved van, containing all of her possessions explode and burst into flames, burning to the ground and destroying everything she owns. The trauma and stress of the fire caused Wendy to suffer a serious health event, for which she has been admitted to hospital to recover. As a result of this accident, Wendy has lost everything and her health has taken a serious, immediate impact as well as leaving her experiencing ongoing flashbacks and anxiety from the trauma. Right now, Wendy has taken a huge serving of bad luck and she needs her friends and family to pull together and to help her through this traumatic life event! Please dig deep and donate some money to help Wendy get back on her feet and to help make her whole once again! Thank you! Susan and David Macintyre
