Hi my name is destiny. I am attempting to raise funds for a new place to rent! I am a single mom of 2 beautiful girls 5 and 2 they deserve the world and I'm trying to give it to them but doing it alone is never easy. I am currently saving all my checks but they don't look the best cause I only have one reliable sitter and she is spread thin as it is. I absolutely hate asking for help but I can use all the help I can get right now. I am currently staying with an amazing couple in our community but need to find our own place within the month, after that we will have to sleep in our car and Alyssa (my oldest) starts school this year and have no address to enroll her. we had a home for 2 yrs and it's the only real home they've ever had and it was jerked out from under them so quickly and they have lost their friends(neighbors), their dog, their sense of safety and stability and they are struggling. Alyssa is asking hard questions, she's internalizing everything that's happened. She is having night terrors and don't want you to be far from her and clinging to her sister in fear of losing what she has left. School for her will be scary and hard not having a home to come back to and waking up in a car to go to school, I am afraid she will be made fun of for being homeless. I only want to give my kids a sense of normalcy. I don't have family bc I was raised in the system so your community is the only family I have
