We are asking for any help we can get for my Siberian husky, Ullr. He has a torn CCL (the equivalent of human ACL) and needs expensive surgery to repair it. I’ve had Ullr since he was a 13 week old fluff ball, he’s been by my side ever since. If you have a dog you know how much unconditional love and joy they bring. He’s been with me through moves, break ups, job changes, family changes, friendships that came and went, and we made the journey from Baltimore to Colorado together: him riding along in my front seat, everything we owned in the back. He is the best boy, my friend, my partner, my defender. When my boyfriend Chris and I started dating he fell as much in love with Ullr as I am. “I didn’t understand why you took so many pictures of him but now I get it.” They’ve enjoyed countless mountain adventures together. We’ve done a lot of research since this CCL injury happened and decided that surgery is our best option. Like a typical stubborn husky he still wants to run around and play and doesn’t seem to even notice he’s injured - and this will be the quickest way to him getting back, recovered, and able to run again in the mountains.
