Hi, my name is Terri Coleman and I'm doing a go-fund me, for my daughter Shannon R. Neenan. Her husband, Glean, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 26, 2024, at their home in Beaumont Texas. At the far too young age of 50. In 2018, he was in a severe accident that put him in a wheelchair with a broken spine, broken knees and a crushed foot (just to name a few of the issues). He was told he'd never walk again. Well, if you knew Glean, you know that he wasn't hearing that. Five years later, just a few days before his passing, he got his first pair of walking shoes. What an awesome day that was. He was so excited that he would be able to dance with Shannon on her birthday, Aug. 10th. Glean was a very special man. He was so in love with his new wife of 1 yr and 3 mos. We've watched a love story unfold, for the past 7 years. He had a heart as big as Texas and a zest for life as I'd never seen before. The funds that are raised for Shannon will be used to keep her afloat until she figures all of this out. She was under the impression that her house would be paid off if something like this was to happen. But that is not the case. And she's not entitled to any of his Disability benefits. It hurts to see your child hurt, knowing there is nothing you can do, to mend their broken heart. So, I'm hoping that some help with the finances will at least eliminate some of her stress. Please share this with your friends and family that know Glean or Shannon. Thank you in advance for your love, support and concern.
