Hi my name is Connie, I am Thomas 2nd youngest daughter. He has had a tough year already as his wife passed away in January from almost 10 year battle with kidney cancer. He lost everything on July 27th @ 6am. His home with all his belongs my little sisters belongs and what was left that belonged to his wife/my mom Dee Dee caught fire due to faulty wiring that caused the ac to catch on fire and spread to half the mobile home. He woke up in enough time to break the glass of his bedroom window and squeeze out. He lost also his beloved animals, 4 cats and 1 dog that were with him. He was taken to Good Sam Hospital were he received 22 stitches to close several cuts he got when he busted his window and climbed out. He had severe smoke inhalation is on medication to bring the inflammation in his lungs down for next couple weeks. He has to completely start over as his mobile home is unlivable. The money will help find him a new place, and help with cleaning up what is left of our home.
