Hey y'all! My name is Lyssa! Our best friends Andy and Tasha are the amazing folks who put on the LaMar Family Lights show every holiday season on Montgomery Ave in Empire. I know many of y'all are familiar with their light show and many families look forward to taking your families to watch their light show every year just as our family does. Unfortunately, all of these lights were stolen when their trailer was stolen from their home earlier this month. After weeks of searching, police reports, and having to file an insurance claim, they have received devastating results - their insurance claim will only cover a small portion of their loss, meaning their light show future and the joy it brings to our community is at risk. Andy and Tasha are far too humble to ask for the community's support to help them rebuild what they've worked so hard to create, but our family is not too humble to ask on their behalf as my heart is broken for our best friends and we want to help them in any way we can - and we believe in the healing power and support of this community Andy works incredibly hard to design his light show, set up the show, and program the show each year starting months before the show begins each year. He and Tasha spend their own incomes to purchase more lights each year to make the show bigger and better each year for our community. They've also collected donations over the years during their light shows to raise money for various organizations and causes including local veterans, local youth sports, and purchasing Christmas gifts for local kids/families and always contributing their own money towards the causes as well. They have also sponsored multiple youth soccer teams for several years. They had over $20,000 in lights stolen as well as their trailer that was used to store them, so we're hoping to help them recoup what we can to start rebuilding their show and their faith Thank you for your support!
