Hi, my name is Sam. I am a 14 year old boy who in the summer of 2025 will have the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and the Galapagos islands for 4 weeks to help with local community projects and environmental conservation, staying with the local communities whilst doing this. The purpose is to help the local community directly but there will also be a much wider positive impact for the environment. Projects will include digging roads, building classrooms, planting trees, collecting and recycling rubbish from land and water. In order to fund this it is expected that I raise the funds myself. I am to do this by offering to complete odd jobs in my local community, by completing sponsored tasks (my first will be a triathlon) and hopefully from this go fund me page where people read this and are inspired to help a child see more than their immediate surroundings.
