Hello everyone, My name is Omar, and I am writing this letter in hopes to get your support to help my family escape the war in Gaza and get them to a much safer place in Canada. Canada has opened up a temporary immigration program for our family members in Gaza, however, is not providing any financial aid. Since the ongoing genocide started on October 7th, I have lost many family members and friends, and I am in constant fear of losing more. My parents and 6 siblings have been displaced twice already in the mid-region of Gaza. My father and youngest brother have both been injured during the bombing of a nearby building on their way to my cousin’s burial and were left with insufficient medical treatment due to the lack of medical supplies. My father is diabetic and has also not received his insulin shots for a while. They have been living in horrific conditions for almost 3 months. Not only are they in constant fear of being killed and losing loved ones, but they have very limited access to food, clean water, and medical care. Any donation you can make, regardless of the amount will mean the world to me and will make a significant impact on my family by providing them a safe and stable future. All funds raised will be used to cover (including GF fees) costs to leave Gaza to Egypt ($5000 for adults and $2500 for anyone under 16 years old), flight expenses to Canada (about $1200 Per person), medical treatments, and living expenses for a couple of months. Please consider donating and sharing this campaign, we are very grateful for your generous support.
