Hi, my name is Lucca Hasenfratz and I'm a transgender and queer incoming freshman at Ithaca College. My family has faced so many obstacles for the past few years and we are in desperate need of help. My dad, the sole provider of my family's income, passed away April 29th this year. It was unexpected and sudden. My mom can't work due to a large number of extenuating issues and is currently waiting on acceptance for Social Security Disability to be able to receive income and receive my dad's income. Because of this, we can't afford rent, which is $3,000 a month. We didn't get approved for other houses we applied to. We can't afford to pay for college. We can't afford to keep our dogs. We can't afford anything. We have very limited options. We will have to move in with my sister and get rid of our dogs if we can't make some income and be able to rent a house. My dogs, Ellie, Elvis, and Baby, are rescues that we adopted 9-10 years ago. They are everything to me. Giving them away is the last thing I want. I don't know what I'm going to do if we have to get rid of them. I feel so lost and helpless. Absolutely anything helps. Thank you so much
