My name is Nikki Burke and I’m fundraising for my sister, Beth, and my two nephews (Isaiah Warren and Immanuel Lowery). My sister had learned of her detached retina back in January, has undergone a few surgeries and learned she won’t be able to gain her vision back at this time due to a hole in her eye leaking fluid causing her not to see. On Saturday, July 8th, her sons and her oldest sons fiancé, was in a horrible car accident after being hit head on. My oldest nephew had scans and X-rays performed and his came back clear although he is still pretty banged up and sore. He is still not able to work at this time. My youngest nephew, Mannie, is still in the hospital. He had internal bleeding in his bowels, had to have a portion of his bowels cut out to fix that problem. His L3 and L4 vertebrae’s are fractured. He will be in a back brace for at least a year. They are concerned about head trauma but not sure the extent of it until they can get his bowels back into his little body due to the swelling from the trauma. They are hoping to get them back in within the next 24 hours unless he contracts a bacterial infection. He is also on a vent so when he comes off that they will be worried about pneumonia. Isaiahs fiancé, Ally, has internal bleeding, a fractured wrist, and a possible broken ankle. Beth learned yesterday that her father is also now in hospice. God has blessed us this far and kept him from any of it. If you cannot donate just please pray and pass this along.
