If you've visited Montpelier or have the amazing good fortune to live there, you'll know Juliana's art and antique shop J. Langdon on Montpelier's Langdon Street, which suffered total losses to its inventory and damage to the building in the July 11 flood. I'm a friend and customer of these wonderful people and their special shop, and am making this fundraiser to give you, fellow friends and customers, a way to help them now. As you know, Juliana and Simon are the warm center of this sunlit shop filled with wonderful antiques, vintage goods, and handmade items. Their carefully-curated selection of treasures has made so many of our lives and homes better, and now these wonderful people need our help. In the days after the July 11 flood, Juliana and Simon were consumed with dealing with the aftermath and researching whether their business insurance or FEMA would help. Unfortunately, it seems that help will not be coming from either entity, so they need the help of their incredible community near and far to get back on their feet. If you're able, please donate to help these two cover losses and lost income as they remain closed while the building undergoes necessary repairs. Every single donation here goes straight to Juliana and Simon to help with costs and with keeping spirits up, as does sharing this campaign with your communities online and in person. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping Juliana and Simon and J. Langdon get back on their feet!
