Hi everyone thanks for looking at our story. We are a small group of mates that on the 18th of august are attempting to kayak from Oxford to London over a 3 day period camping on the riverbank during the night. The entire row will be just over 100 miles so we are aiming for 33 miles a day, a quick Google search says you can paddle a kayak 10-15 miles a day so we are attempting to hit nearly triple that. It will for sure be no mean feat and we may have bitten off more then we can chew. Any money raised will be used to buy little care packs for people sleeping homeless in Maidstone and will consist of a sleeping bag, socks, gloves, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant and other such things. We aim to row for at least 12 hours a day.We are hoping for good weather and no rain, as we have to carry all our equipment with us so of course the more we have to take the harder it will become.
