Colleen was in a car accident at the start of the year and took her car to a mechanic that she trusted back in February. She paid for the repairs and never got a receipt and this mechanic has been dodging her since. - he took her car off his property and got it stolen - He made her pay the $500 impound fee on the car which now has forced her to have to re-register her car - He has robbed her and still owes her money outside of the repairs for the car which were never done! - Her thousand dollar antique frames have been TORCHED - Plastic bags left in her car had melted and fused to HIS UNDERWEAR because he had left his gym bag in her car - He has been avoiding her calls and e-mails and texts and when she appeared in person he keeps promising to call her back or bring the car back and has missed every promised deadline - There were parts from other vehicles in her car Colleen has a disability and requires frequent medical visits so has had to pay $40 per month for a volunteer service to drive her to her appointments. She had been paying $130 per month for car insurance on a car she hasn’t had for 5-6 MONTHS. He has robbed her of her time, health, and close to $1,866 dollars due to this neglect of service. After many months of neglect, effort, broken promises and many, many tears we got the car back. IN THE SAME CONDITION WE LEFT IT. Colleen is an 80 year old beloved local artist. She has dedicated many years to the Boys and Girls Club of America. Even if you can spare $2, it’s $2 more than we started with. Or at least please share this story. Let’s please blow this up.
