This is Harpers story and how you could help her and others. Harpers fight against Rare Philadelphia positive chromosome, leukaemia. My name is Emma and I am trying to help Harper and her family raise money. This is harpers story… Harper is a 5 year old amazing, clever funny and caring little girl she lives with mummy and daddy (stepdad) around 7th July 2024 she came out with a rash all over her not very bright but unusual she still felt ok but over the next few days she was a little more unwell the dr thought it was viral rash but as she got worse was taken into hospital in Plymouth and admitted she underwent blood tests which very quickly revealed she had leukaemia and was taken to the best children’s hospital in the country if not the Uk, where full diagnosis was confirmed as lymphoblastic leukaemia but a very rare form of (cancer in the blood) and from then until now has been going through chemotherapy, steroids, anti sickness, antibiotics and several other pain medications… At the moment Harper does understand how serious this is and that she is nearly a month behind with treatment due to being unwell and numbers being too low to have her surgeries and other serious help she needs and is aware she still has 1.5 years minimum…..the family have relocated in the last few months to accomodation more suitable close to the hospital and stepdad being disabled it’s very difficult not to mention the financial side of things which is needed to ensure Harper has every single thing she needs to help her fight. life has been turned upside down and Owen & Kelly just want what’s best for Harper and the other. Children and they are doing everything possible to fight this disease with no idea of the outcome all they have is hope. But they really need some help and having always raised lots money for charities over 30k never thought they would be in this position to ask for help. Harper also being so inspiring wants to help others and has given lots of her toys etc to the hospital and wants to help others who struggle too.
