Hi all, Jen and Rachel here. Our stepbrother got his amazing son Jake a puppy named Fletcher. His first ever doggy! Three days after they brought sweet Fletcher home they discovered he had Parvo (usually deadly for dogs.) None of the other litter puppies have it, thankfully. Jake is devastated beyond words. Thank God the vet caught it early, so they think Fletcer will survive- but at an exorbitant cost that we are afraid will bankrupt the family. This is so hard but we are humbly asking for help with Vet and 24hr hospital care for them for their new 14 week old puppy English Bulldog, Fletcher. He has been hospitalized for a week under constant care and medicine. The costs are piling up higher each day. Parvovirus is extremely dangerous for these Bulldogs due to their inherent respiratory challenges! He has not eaten for almost 6 days but has been sniffing the offered food. The vet is optimistic that he will recover from this sickness but their finances may not. If you can help, it is very much appreciated and know that we will pay it forward. And please share this GFM with anyone, especially doggy lovers, as every share helps. All funds will be used for Fletchers care. If there are any funds not needed specifically for Fletcher's needs for this event, those funds will be re-donated to another family who has a pet in need of care. They only had him for 3 days before he became ill. We wish we had more pictures but we pray that we get through this and we will!! Thank you, beautiful community. Truly. It takes a village.
