Hi everyone! First off, I would like to ask for some beautiful quotes, words of wisdom, lyrics from an awesome song, words of advice and any good joke will suffice! And a great story of how we met is always nice too! I’ve been pretty sick for the last few weeks with really bad nausea. I went to my regular Dr. Appointment for the nausea and that’s when she found out that my oxygen level was only 80%. She wanted to send me to the ER from her office in an ambulance but I was feeling just fine so I drove myself promising to call her when I got to the ER. I made the drive just fine as it was only 3 miles away. The ER immediately checked me in on Friday, July 14th. I ended up aspirating some vomit into my ung when I had all that nausea so I had bacterial pneumonia. I still wasn’t getting better with the nausea so my Dr. ran a bunch of tests including an MRI and that’s when we got the news. I have a brain tumor on my pituitary gland which is the master gland of your body because it controls almost everything. I’ve been having problems with my vision because the tumor is sitting on my optic nerve. I’m on oxygen still because of the pneumonia but I hope to go home today Saturday, July 22nd having being in the hospital for 9 days. with oxygen and an appointment with a neurosurgeon on Thursday, July, 27th. None of the surgeons have much experience removing my type of tumor so they wanted to send me to Salt Lake City and we’ve done our research there as well. They have less than par surgeons on my type of surgery as well. The plan is to make it to UC San Francisco who are ranked #2 in the country at removing pituitary gland tumors. I don’t wanna just hand my brain over to anyone so I need to advocate for myself. All prayers will be accepted and I’m trying to continue to trust in God that he has a master plan for me. Thank you for your help.Our hope is to raise enough money for gas and lodging for family while I’m in San Francisco getting surgery and recovering. I would fly but I cannot because it will put too much pressure on my head and I’m still on oxygen.In lieu of money we would like words of kindness, beautiful quotes, words of wisdom and maybe a small story about how we met!
