Dear family & friends, On July 7, Colin had a motor vehicle accident with severe brain injuries. He’s stable but still in Neuro ICU & it's been a rollercoaster. Until he’s fully alert we will not know the extent of his injuries. He’s in the best hospital, receiving the utmost care from his amazing team of doctors & nurses, which we are eternally grateful for. Colin’s fit, healthy, strong & a fighter, so we have faith he will get through this. His doctors have told us he needs time, whether it’s 6 months, 1 year or more. Time will tell. Friday July 21st was an emotional day as it was the first day he opened his right eye. July 25th they removed his ventilator, so he can breathe with some oxygen that he gets from his trach. He has gradually been moving his left arm & leg, and we starting to see some movement in his right hand & arm. All positive baby steps on his road to recovery. There have been so many good signs, lots of emotional support from family, friends & the entire community, so we thank you for being here. Rachel & their sweet girls Eleni 5 1/2 & Esme 3 as well as Colin will need as much support as possible. Here’s where we’d like to ask you to help in any way you can. Any amount you donate will go a long way to help us pay Colin’s astronomic medical bills, his stay in a rehab facility, (which could be months), not to mention that he cannot work so there’s no income. Rachel also had to give up her job too. Please continue to pray for Colin. We thank all very much, Elena & Rachel
