House fires are an unimaginable event. They can leave damage to far more than what meets the eye, two people impacted by such a thing this past week are our friends Casey and Adelaide. The fire happened on Friday July 7th. Adelaide has been a long standing tenant but Casey’s lease began July 1st. She had just started moving in her belongings. Late Friday night an electrical fire began in Casey’s bedroom and the living room, connected to hers. Firefighters were able to put out the fire but Casey’s room has seen severe damage, losing most of her furniture including her bed and dresser. All of the living room furniture belonging to Adelaide has also been destroyed. They are currently staying at a hotel but it will be weeks/ months before they are back in their apartment due to the damages. Thankfully, Casey and Adelaide are safe. But they are faced with rebuilding and replacing everything. Any amount you can give to help them in this process is truly appreciated. Love Casey and Adelaide’s Friends
