Hello Everyone, My name is Louis C Runge. I am starting this fundraiser for my friend and AA sponsor Bradley DeAngelis. Recently, Brad has suffered a very severe dirt bike injury which resulted in his Femur completely severed in two along with a hip fracture. Brad had to be life flighted to Cleveland for the medical attention that was immediately required. This injury has left him out of work for an extended period of time with no compensation at all! He is starting to walk again with assistance from a cane/ wheelchair, but due to pain and his work requiring him to be “fully recovered”, this has left him in a financial bind with paying rent and bills at his home, along with not being able to be adequately prepared for the impending medical bills which will eventually come. For those of you who do not know Brad let me shed some light on his character. First off, Brad and I are in recovery from Alcoholism together, and he is my sponsor. He has helped me and many other men recover from this hopeless state of body and mind. With 8 years of continuous sobriety himself, he is a very active member of Lorain and Cuyahoga county AA and is known for his acts of giving back to the community and his helpful nature. Brad has spent countless hours speaking at AA meetings, zoom meetings, inmates in the prison, as well as donating his cooking skills to those in need. On his spare time when he’s not working for a Drug/ Alcohol rehabilitation center, he enjoys helping his mother, video games, and dirt bike riding.
