Hi everyone! My name is Jedediah. For privacy reasons, my partner decided to remain unnamed. I'm fundraising out of desperation. About 4 months ago, my partner and I were suddenly evicted from our home with no notice, due to a personal dispute between my partner We have been staying in our car with our dog (his photo is attached <3) ever since, making money through doordash and instacart to cover our necessities. My partner and I are both disabled. We both struggle with autism, ocd, depression, and PTSD, in addition to chronic pain due to work related injuries, and my partners diabetes. Finding work at the moment has been made unfathomably difficult given these factors. Delivering food and groceries is truly all we can do to survive and afford our food and meds while we wait to hear back about our SSI application. Our car is not a good one by any standard. It needs some serious repairs that we just simply cannot afford, from a faulty wire causing issues with a headlight, to us recently losing the power steering. Additionally, there's been a recent issue with the water pump, bad wiring in our AC, our tires are bald, our brakes are bad, and soon a ball joint will definitely need to be replaced. Our car is Not in good condition by any standard, and driving it is quite unsafe at this point. If we lose this car, we will lose our only source of income and safe shelter. If that happens, I am genuinely fearful that we may not be able to survive. Please, help us. Whatever you can give will go a really long way. But we cannot lose this car.
