Hey friends. This is Sara, and I come to you with a humble request to help a woman and child in need. Someone I know and love needs to escape a domestic violence situation. Her identity will be kept anonymous for her safety and to spare her some of the shame and stigma that domestic violence victims must carry. This person lives paycheck to paycheck and had to leave her home where she lived with her boyfriend after repeated violence. She is physically and emotionally wounded. A close friend a few states away has offered her shelter and she plans to flee with her daughter to safety. She needs help to pay for the cost of relocating. After living with domestic violence as a child, I understand the terror and shame that comes from a situation like this. I want to help.
