Our team of volunteers rely solely on donations to remain active. We receive no funding from South Central Ambulance Service and are a sperate entity from the South Central Ambulance Charity. This means that we have to pay for all of our kit and equipment. From renting the mobile phones, which is how we are dispatched to calls, to training, to uniform to the kit bags on our backs, to the car and the fuel we put in it we have to fundraise for it all. The community responders are all volunteers who live on the island and give up their time to support our community. We come from all parts of the local community. From teachers to Social Workers, retail workers to the retired, we all have one goal and that is to support our community and make a difference. A group of volunteer responders are now taking on an even bigger challenge and are going to take on conquering Snowdon whilst raising vital funds to keep us going and on the road. Please support our cause, as the money you donate could really make a difference and potentially be a key part in saving a life.
