Hello, this is a fundraiser for The Gravel Lake Candy Store. THIS IS A ONE-DAY CANDY STORE FREE TO THE KIDS, DONATION FUNDED, AND STAFFED BY VOLUNTEERS. OUR INSPIRATION: THE TRADITION This is an attempt to bring the nostalgia of the Willow Beach Candy store to a new generation of young Gravel Lakers. The Candy Store is in the small building in the back lock of Richard & May Moore's cottage right next door to the old candy store on Willow Beach. All candy will be free for the kids paid for via donations. Any leftover candy will be donated to the Gravel Lake Halloween Party. THE CONCEPT All kids 12 & under will be given a free "GOLDEN TICKET" that is used to select $10 of free candy from 10am-1:00pm. The same free "GOLDEN TICKET" is available for kids 13 & up after 1:00pm. THE FRUITION This entire idea cannot happen without volunteers and donations. 100% of the donated funds will be used for the candy and other setup expenses. More information: With a candy budget of over $2,500, the candy store will be loaded with over 150 different varieties of candy, chocolate, cotton candy, cracker jacks, licorice, and lollypops. Every kid comes in and choses their selections with a free "GOLDEN TICKET" and leaves the store with a bag of candy in an official Gravel Lake Candy Store bag.
